I've been around NG for around 6 years now.
I've always loved the site except for the people on the forums.
Yet this site is so unappreciated and so crowded with adolescent wannabes that barely anyone I know has even heard the name.
I should attempt to get a job with them...

a fictional character from the A Nightmare on Elm Street series of films. Created by Wes Craven and portrayed by actor Robert Englund in every film of the series, he is an undead serial killer who can attack his victims from within their own dreams. Freddy is commonly identified by his burnt, disfigured face, red and green striped sweater, brown fedora hat, and trademark metal-clawed leather glove, which he fashioned himself. His full name has been listed as Frederick Charles Krueger. Wes Craven claims his inspiration for the basis of Krueger's power stemmed from several stories in the LA Times about a series of mysterious deaths: all the victims had reported recurring nightmares beforehand, and died in their sleep. Physically, Craven's inspirations for Freddy included a homeless man who had frightened Craven as a youth and a bully at his school. The 1970s pop song "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright sealed the story for Craven, giving him not only an artistic setting to "jump off" from, but the synthesizer riff from the Elm Street soundtrack.

Robert Englund has expressed many times that he feels that the deeper meaning behind the character is that he represents neglect, particularly the neglect that children and teens are sometimes subject to when growing up.

Ya know I've been with NG for so long and today I finally came to the forums and I see that everyone here just furthers the stereotype of stupid Americans. >.< Ok kid your not gonna get any respect from any of these lowlifes because they're all to busy being an enema. Don't get me wrong, there are SOME good people here, but most are just little kids trying to be cool. I'll respect you as a fellow NG member, but there's a good chance that if you start getting big on here and such, you'll end up just like them. I'm sorry but these forums are just here so a bunch of whiny teens can learn some computer skills. No offense, but most of you are retarded. As for the newbie thing: They're never gonna stop because they always have to make them selfs feel like they're smart, when in literal, they're riding inside a bandwagon. Just ignore it because anyone on here who has maturity enough to talk over all the death threats and little wanna-be children, will enjoy NG the most. :3 Have fun kid!

Ok, I LOVE NG with all my heart but there are a LOT of kids on here breaking the rules and even threatening each other. I've known about NG for about 4 years now and I haven't even touched the drama-filled forums until today. Kids, if your gonna get mad over what other people are saying then don't bother going there cause that's all your gonna get! People are gonna call you every name in the book and I mean if something bad happens then report it but otherwise get over it. It's just like all the other forums and chats in the world except it happens to be on a REALLY cool site. So, yea, if you're having a SERIOUS problem, then talk to a MOD. Stop posting things like, "respect me and so n' so said this" because no one's gonna listen. I give the up most respect on these things and no one notices. I posted my FIRST topic today and immediately was told I should die. I was expecting that and you should too. Just search for those random users who actually give a shit because I can tell you know they are the only ones who actually know what thread they're on and have something to say. As for me, I just look around and give a few opinions here and there, but the forums is definitely not my thing...
